About Me

I have a document open and I am unable to see the related files bar. I watched a brief video on related toolbars for CS4 and I do know what to look for. However I do not see it in Dreamweaver.

Whoops replied to the wrong message in that last message.

BTW, did you get the email I sent earlier (below)?

Do you have a document open? The document-related toolbars (style rendering, document and standard) are part of the document window, display information related to the current document and are therefore only available when a document is open.

You need to create a folder on your hard drive and name it DWcourse (Section 0.2.1 in Module 0). Then when defining the local site (Section 0.5) you will click on the folder icon to the right of the Local root folder field and use the File dialog to navigate into the DWcourse folder you created and select it.

If you're using Windows be sure to read the Windows Bug warning after Section 0.3 and make sure that the correct folder was chosen.

You'll also need to create a DWresources folder for later use (Section 0.2.2) in the same manner.

And feel free to post these questions in the main forum. Other folks have similar questions as well.

I just did a fresh load of Web Premium CS4 yesterday. When I attempt to use the view dropdown and go to toolbars nothing in toolbars is populated. Do you know if this would be a snapin, module or addon that I am missing. I did run all the adobe updates and this did not correct the situation.

I just sent you the module 0 handout. That should make it clear.

    Hi,

Can you tell me what the path is for the Local route Folder (DWcourse)? Is this a folder that I am suppose to create? If so where?

    Thanks,
