How to center a web page layout in Dreamweaver (or any other web design program): Duration 2:40
Click for step-by-step directions to Center an HTML Page Layout…
This is not working for me at all. I have watched it about 5 times, and I am very frustrated. Does it matter if the objects in the wrapper are other AP divs or library items, such as a nav bar??? I wish you had showed building the page from scratch instead of starting with ready made objects on the page. In my case I have objects already on the page, I just need to center everything.
If the objects on the page are absolutely positioned, you’ll need to create a css style for the wrapper use position:relative. I the objects are not absolutely positioned then you can wrap them all in a wrapper div and set its left and right margins to auto. You’ll also have to set a width fro the wrapper div.
