You also have to get the name of the directory exactly right. Or you can create a directory (named "dummy" for instance) inside the one you want to and then select the "dummy" folder. I ended up having an issue with Win 7 and had to run startup repair and the issue came back. I wish I could figure out what exactly breaks Dreamweaver, but I know it IS possible to get it working! Product improvement over time is natural.
