Adobe Quietly Eliminates Creative Suite Subscriptions

by James Cook on January 13, 2012

A check of the Adobe website indicates that Adobe has eliminated its subscription services for Creative Suite bundles. The move makes sense in light of the upcoming launch of Creative Cloud, which will include access to all Creative Suite programs along with Touch Apps, online storage and file sharing and other services. Creative Cloud will cost $49.99 per month, a bargain compared to even the least expensive Suite subscription which previously cost over $60 per month.

Adobe continues to offer subscriptions for individual programs but, with subscriptions to Photoshop starting at $49 per month, we can probably expect Adobe to drop its subscription prices if it continues to offer single app subscriptions.
