Ralph, it looks to me as if your page is uploading and you can view it at http://islandguidesvc.com/islandguidesvc.html. I’m not sure why you decided to change the name away from index.html. You NEED an index.html page as your default home page (the one you see when you go to just http://www.islandguidesvc.com/). So change the file back to index.html, update all the links to Home, upload the file, and try again.

You might alos want to condier adding contact information at the bottom of each page (not just on the contact page) for your customer’s convenience.

Wish I was fishing!

I am having problems getting my home page to update after setting up a new account with a server. I have made corrections to the islandguidesvc.html file, but when I “put” to the site it doesn’t seem to overwrite that file. All other files and graphics are working fine with the puts. I can look at the activity and see the file going out and response coming back in form of report upon query.
Should I try and get into my server and just delete the file via public_html or upload it via ftp as suggested by my tech support?
Comment from tech support:
“You may need to go to a forum for people that use dream weaver, and ask why it is not loading over the old page… there may be a setting. I don’t use dream weaver, and am not familiar with it at all.

I think someone familiar with the program your using will be able to tell you what to check or uncheck to get it to do what it should.

It should upload all changed pages, or all pages, or changed pages only.. I just don’t know how to tell you to set it to do so. ” quote

A note from me: I had tried to load into index.html accidently at my site at one point until corrected. I now have the file set up to go out as islandguidesvc.html, my site is islandguidesvc.com with FTP address of:
FTP host name: islandguidesvc.com

Hope I gave enough data to make it clearRegards,

One more question (I hope you check this)
On this website: http://seventwenty-four.com/seventwenty-four2009curved.html
You can see that the images on the top look as if they are one pixel off to the left. (Just look along the right side of the middle column and you can see a white line)

Also, check the youtube video…It is too far over. How do I move my content over?
